Karen Armstrong

Karen studied for her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Latrobe University and graduated in 2003. She has since worked in the Grampians region, completed Post Graduate Studies in Health Promotion and Management, and is now the principal physiotherapist at KMA Health & Physio.

Karen lives on a farm in Tatyoon with her family. She enjoys playing sport locally and contributing to community development.

Karen has worked in many different public health services and has had extensive experience with acute and rehabilitative inpatients; aquatic physiotherapy, women’s health, paediatrics, neurological, cardiothoracic, sports and orthopaedic community services.

Forums at which Karen has presented include the Grampians Region Allied Health Conference, the Victorian State Rural Health Conference and the National Centre for Farmer Health Conference.

Karen is especially interested in paediatric physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She is particularly driven to deliver the highest quality services in rural areas, and helping patients achieve their goals. Karen is known to go the extra mile for her patients, ensuring all areas of their lives are considered and their therapy is successful in achieving goals set.
